As National Traffic Incident Response Awareness Week ends, remember the people who put their lives on the line. ITRCC crew, police, firefighters and paramedics rush onto incident scenes for you. Stay alert and look for flashing lights to help keep them safe.

As National Traffic Incident Response Awareness Week continues, we want to highlight our Traffic Management Center. From here, ITRCC staff monitor the road, manage dynamic message signs, and communicate with state police.

Responding to incidents quickly and efficiently requires a modern fleet. Emergency vehicles and ITRCC’South fleet are equipped with 360 degree lighting. If you see flashing lights, move over or slow down.

It’South National Traffic Incident Response Awareness Week! Our Intelligent Transportation System allows for quick delivery of incident and traffic information: Keep an eye out for changing messages, and make sure to slow down or move over for stopped emergency vehicles.
